Automotive Claims Support Specialist

Our client, a leading provider of vehicle service contracts, is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician Claims Support professional to join their team.
This is a unique opportunity for a current or former Service Advisor or Auto Mechanic to leverage their technical expertise and communication skills in a professional office environment.
The ideal candidate will be a sharp, talented individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to effectively communicate with agents, clients, and customers to resolve warranty-related issues.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Adjudicating claims and providing claims status
- Resolving or escalating customer issues
- Ensuring proper documentation and adhering to contract terms and conditions
- Utilizing available resources and meeting schedule expectations
Key qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of experience within the Automotive Service Industry
- Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot policy issues
- Proficiency in Windows and MS Office Products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to exercise sound judgment
- Authorization to work in the U.S or Canada
- Ability to pass a background check
Experience in customer service, insurance claims, or call/claims center environment is a plus.
