We are in search of a driven Sales & Marketing Manager to spearhead the business development function, leading prospect identification, assessment, and conversion for our innovative ice cream company.
At SMiZE & DREAM, we’re not just scooping ice cream—we’re crafting immersive experiences, blending entertainment with culinary delight, and spreading joy in every cup, cone, pint, and 3-gallon tub.

We’re on the search for a passionate and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Manager to drive our growth across the East Coast and beyond. This is a Work-From-Home role with occasional travel for client meetings/events—and regular virtual & physical catch-ups with the SMiZE team.

Yes, this role is based in New York, with an initial focus on the East Coast, researching, identifying, and converting domestic leads. The role could rapidly expand to cover other parts of the United States and beyond.

The team will support you every step of the way. But you will be the creator of your own destiny. You will be accountable for results. You will work closely with the CFO and directors, but if you’re not keen on making brand-new friends via cold-calling, maybe you shouldn’t apply. Cold-calling is a must
About You:
You are a focused all-rounder who can handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects. And you get results. You can work at a senior executive level, get past the gatekeepers, and pitch to CEOs. You have both street cred and boardroom credibility.
And you’re also a process person—structured, disciplined, and autonomous. Plus you’re a people person with your own connections in our target audience.
Knowledge of the ice cream industry and/or the CPG sector is a major plus.

Here are some examples of your experience and qualifications:
- You have worked as a sales and/or business development specialist focused on securing large accounts. And your marketing prowess is unmatched
.
- Our target audience for this role includes captive and semi-captive markets—such as airlines, cruise ships, stadiums, and arenas, as well as quality supermarket chains, events, festivals, partnerships, and collaborations.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or finance is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify new business opportunities, including potential clients, partners, and untapped markets, continuously exploring diverse accounts.
- Leverage LinkedIn, connection software, and other marketing platforms to connect with prospects and drive brand awareness.
- Engage in cold-calling, direct outreach, and digital communication to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
- Develop and nurture relationships with prospective clients, arranging meetings, and identifying ways to grow partnerships and expand market share.
- Promote the company’s products and services by understanding and addressing clients' objectives, offering tailored solutions that align with their needs. You will be the initial touchpoint for many, so professionalism and positivity are crucial.
- Collaborate with the creative, finance, an and operations teams to ensure campaigns, promotions, and sales strategies align with broader business goals.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, leads, and progress to ensure accurate tracking for negotiations and long-term relationship building.
- Prepare compelling pitch decks, draft contracts, and marketing materials, and lead the conversion of prospects into clients. A proven track record in both sales and marketing is required.
- Analyze market trends and consumer data to inform sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue and enhance brand visibility
