Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Director to join our premier clients team. As the HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's human resource’s function. You will lead and manage the entire HR department, working closely with leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support the growth and commitment to excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization's culture, performance, and success.


This position is located in Norcross, but will involve travel to several locations throughout the United States and possibly Mexico. The hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, but needs flexibility since they run different shifts and you are working with different plants in different time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR department, setting goals and priorities that align with company's mission and values.

Policy and Procedure Development: Create and enhance HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry best practices.

Talent Acquisition: Develop and oversee the recruitment process, attracting top talent to join the company.

Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture by managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.

Benefits Administration: Manage the administration of employee benefits, including PTO, health benefits, and 401k programs.

Compensation and Payroll: Oversee compensation strategies to ensure competitive pay structures and efficient payroll management.

Training and Development: Promote continuous learning and development opportunities for employees at all levels.

Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a welcoming and equitable workplace.

Compliance: Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR practices remain compliant.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and innovation.
  • Previous experience working with a food manufacturing company.
