About This RoleThe Human Resources Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department, with a focus in supporting the Learning & Development as well as the Recruiting functions.  The Human Resources Coordinator assists with and facilitates the human resource processes across the enterprise. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function including scheduling, record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS maintenance.   Key Responsibilities
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process. Schedules interviews, tracks candidates’ status in HRIS and responds with follow-up at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Schedules HR meetings, makes travel arrangements, prepares presentations, and processes expenses and bills.
  • Prepares weekly recruiting reports in order to facilitate and run efficient team meetings.
  • Maintains record of the requisition approvals for auditing purposes.
  • Coordinates all internal Learning and Development activities: assignments, invitations, attendance tracking, training space, equipment, accommodations, etc.
  • Takes HR team meeting minutes and distributes them timely.
  • Reconciles monthly expenses for team, and senior-level HR staff
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Assists in the annual Affirmative Action Plan reporting by providing accurate and timely Applicant reports for the master file.
  • Answers departmental frequently asked questions via email or live requests from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee and candidate requests and questions in a timely manner, copying appropriate team members.
  • Creates, streamlines, and manages HR project management dashboard and tracks items.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee-related topics.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education/Experience 
  • Associate's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience required.
 Computer Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems (preferably ADP Workforce Now).
 Other Skills/Abilities or Other Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
