Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Loan Officer Assistant at Contour Mortgage Corporation in Brooklyn, NY. As a Loan Officer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our loan officers in managing loan applications, processing documentation, and ensuring a smooth and efficient loan process for our clients. Your attention to detail and excellent organizational skills will contribute to the overall success of our team.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist loan officers with loan application processes, including collecting and reviewing necessary documentation
  • Communicate with clients to gather required information and provide updates on loan status
  • Prepare and organize loan files, ensuring all documents are complete and accurate
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely processing and closing of loans
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the loan processing system
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments for loan officers
  • Assist in preparing loan packages for underwriting and closing
  • Monitor loan status and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the loan officers and team


Prerequisites (preferred but not required):

  • Experience in the Mortgage Industry and Customer Service
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan processes and regulations
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications
