Jackson Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Paralegal to join our corporate administrative team. The primary focus of this role is to assist with administrative corporate filings and handle a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and capable of working under minimal supervision while reporting to the Senior Paralegal. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to expand their legal knowledge and experience in corporate legal administration.


This role is on-site in our beautiful Alpharetta headquarters.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Corporate Filings: Prepare and file various corporate documents, including but not limited to incorporation documents, annual reports, and other statutory filings. Ensure all filings comply with state and federal laws.
  • Document Management: Organize and maintain legal documents and files, ensuring they are updated and accessible. Manage electronic filing systems and Contract Management Systems.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, meeting preparations, and coordination between different departments. Handle correspondence and communication on behalf of the legal team. Open corporate mail and organization for the various departments.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring corporate compliance with legal standards and internal policies as requested.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with internal and external parties to gather information or documents required for filings and other legal processes.
  • Special Projects: Provide support on various special projects as assigned by the Senior Paralegal or other attorneys.


QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in a paralegal or legal assistant, or executive assistant role, preferably within a corporate administration or legal department.
  • Certification: Paralegal certification is a plus.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, word and basic knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
