POSITION SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Recruiter I (Sourcer) will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top talent for our organization. This role will collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and proactively source candidates across various channels for a broad range of roles. Your goal will be to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure timely and successful placements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Candidate Sourcing - 40%
- various sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, networking, referrals) to identify potential candidates
- proactive outreach to passive candidates and build relationships for future opportunities
- explore new avenues and strategies for talent sourcing and engagement
- with recruiters, leaders, and associate networks to improve employee referrals, sourcing, and diverse representation in hiring
- and Assessment - 25%
- resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications against job requirements
- initial phone screens to evaluate candidate fit, interest, and availability
- with recruiters and hiring managers to understand specific position requirements
Collaboration and Communication - 15%
- with recruiters and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and priorities
- regularly with candidates, providing updates and gathering feedback
- in team meetings and contribute to recruitment strategy discussions
- the company at local networking and recruiting events and assist in the organization of career fairs or conferences
- creative outreach campaigns on a variety of platforms, ensuring messaging and collateral is in line with organizational EVP
- our employer brand externally and employee referral program internally
- Serve as backup support for administrative/new hire onboarding tasks.
Pipeline Management - 10%
- and expand a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
- timely follow-up and engagement with candidates to provide a positive candidate experience
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other tools to track candidate progress and interactions
Market Research - 10%
- informed about industry trends, market salary rates, and competitor insights
- recruitment data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform sourcing strategies

- work on special projects or other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS
- School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- years of related business experience, preferably in corporate recruiting
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
