Job Overview:


We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role will focus on fielding incoming leads and driving outbound business for our metal fabricated products, including both standard and custom solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in managing customer interactions, gathering requirements, working with engineering teams for quoting, preparing proposals, and closing deals.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead Management:

  • Field and qualify incoming leads via phone, email, and web inquiries.
  • Conduct initial consultations to understand customer needs and provide product information.


Outbound Sales:

  • Proactively reach out to potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects through strategic outreach and relationship building.


Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with customers to gather detailed requirements for both standard and custom metal fabrication projects.
  • Document and analyze customer needs to provide accurate solutions and specifications.


Quotation and Proposal Preparation:

  • Work with the engineering team to prepare accurate quotes and proposals based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure proposals are competitive and meet customer expectations.


Customer Engagement:

  • Present and explain proposals to customers, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve sales targets.


Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide post-sale support and follow-up to ensure successful project execution.


Reporting and Administration:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the metal fabrication or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
