We’re looking for a Director of Marketing

As a Director of Marketing for InRhythm, you will play a crucial role in you will be a key player in shaping and enhancing our brand and GTM activities. Your role will involve working closely with clients, creative teams, and cross-functional departments to develop and implement impactful brand and marketing strategies. Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  1. InRhythm Marketing and Brand Strategy:
  • Execution of innovative marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and establish industry thought leadership.
  • Strengthening the employment brand to highlight InRhythm as an attractive workplace.
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy, including SEO-optimized web content, and various resources like white papers, case studies, and videos.
  • Partnering with the Sales team for innovative client outreach.


2. Event Management and Community Engagement:

  • Organizing various events like monthly client “lunch and learns,” CTO roundtables, quarterly hackathons, training sessions, and meetups.
  • Managing communication rhythms including client- and talent-focused newsletters.
  • Building networks of positive sentiment and engaging with potential clients and consultants.


3. Product Marketing and Content Generation

  • Develop a deep understanding of our technology consulting services and products and identify unique selling points. Create compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences.
  • Create high-quality marketing collateral, including product website content, brochures, whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts, to educate and engage our target audience. (In partnership with other teams at InRhythm - Sales, Delivery, Practices - to gather necessary information)
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, materials, and training to effectively communicate the value proposition of our services and products including presentations, SOWs, and proposals.
  • Create and cultivate Customer Advisory Board to help integrate customer feedback in product updates and innovation.


4. Lead Generation and Industry Presence:

  • Setting up inbound and outbound lead generation programs, focusing on client and talent outreach through targeted account-based marketing
  • Implementing social media and public relations strategies on platforms like Glassdoor, Github, Stackoverflow.
  • Enhancing industry presence through senior management participation in events and creative marketing initiatives.


5. CEO Brand & Relationship Management:

  • Curate and manage the CEO's outward-facing image and engagements, inclusive of:
  • Social media, blog posts, white papers and articles
  • Speaking engagements relevant to CEO and InRhythm’s expertise
  • Industry events, conferences, and client activities
  • Non-profit events and initiatives
  • Manage CEO’s website, employee communication
  • Manages the CEO's Top 100 Client Relationships through tailored engagement programs, such as:
  • Regular cadence for communication / marketing
  • Scheduling meals / coffees to re-connect
  • Sending gifts / insights on semi-regular basis (i.e. Books, person-specific gifts, InRhythm Swag)
  • Organizes and/or identifies enriching networking and development opportunities aligning with the CEO's personal and professional growth parameters (i.e. industry execs worth connecting with, networking dinners)


Must-Have:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in a marketing role in the technology consulting or professional services space
  • Experience working in a fast-paced hands-on environment
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Expertise in product positioning and product marketing
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
  • Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.


Nice to have:

  • Experience marketing to independent workers (e.g. consultants, contractors) as well as those with technical backgrounds (e.g. engineers, designers)
