We are privileged to be working with a client in the healthcare industry that is seeking to hire a Director of Finance to be part of their senior management team and partner directly with the Practice CFO. You will lead all aspects of financial activities in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within healthcare. You will provide leadership, oversight, mentorship and overall management of the Finance Department for the Central Florida practice while partnering with Accounting, Revenue Cycle and other internal departments. It also includes preparing financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and the general economic outlook. As the Finance Director, you will develop and improve the operational goals of the department, staffing, training, development of staff.


Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Develops regular reporting and analysis, including status reports, and conducts ad hoc financial analysis as the need arises and provides ongoing financial modeling and analysis expertise to business partners.
  • Actively assist in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
  • Studies long-range economic trends and projects company prospects for future growth in overall revenue and market share, opportunities for acquisitions or expansion into new areas.
  • Provides analytics assistance during contract negotiations such as stipend considerations, staffing requirements, and managed care analysis, may vary by platform.
  • Ensures timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist senior management in performing their responsibilities.


The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years financial management experience in a healthcare company. In addition, you should have 7 years of proven experience at management level for oversight of functions and/or staff.
