The Head of Financial Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping and directing both short-term and long-term financial planning initiatives while providing comprehensive analysis of business unit performance. This position requires close collaboration with executive leadership to support strategic objectives, mergers and acquisitions, and various special projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the annual operating budget and long-term strategic financial plan in conjunction with the CEO, COO, and Executive Directors.
  • Enhance the budgeting process by educating department heads on financial matters that influence their budgets.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving processes and identifying needs for upgrading current financial reporting and planning systems.
  • Offer strategic financial insights on issues impacting the organization. Analyze financial data to generate forecasts regarding business, industry, and economic conditions to inform investment decisions.
  • Create and implement metrics, trends, analyses, and forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, including both short and long-term cash flow projections and capital asset planning to enable timely decision-making by business leaders.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and other executives to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities, competitive advantages, weaknesses, and potential opportunities; oversee the execution of identified initiatives.
  • Provide direct oversight and strategic guidance to build a high-performing FP&A team, including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and professional development.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $96,866/year - $143,549/year. This range reflects the low and high end of the company's base salary scale for this role, with actual compensation varying based on factors such as experience.
