Location
The corporate office is situated in Orlando, FL (UCF Area). The Senior Financial Consultant will operate from the Orlando office with the potential for a hybrid position after a designated period.
Key Responsibilities
The role reports directly to the Director of Finance and will encompass the following responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements.
- Analyze, reconcile, and monitor monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Develop monthly financial reporting packages.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Account for prepaid expenses and accruals, including the formulation of amortization schedules.
- Prepare and evaluate monthly budget versus actual variances for various departments.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules for accounting and tax purposes.
- Conduct cash and indirect cost forecasting.
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly sales/excise tax returns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with government compliance regulations.
- Independent and adaptable problem-solver capable of adjusting as the business evolves.
- Proficient in reviewing sales and use tax.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various management levels.
