Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Title: Inside Sales EngineerEmployment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:- Review customer inquiries for application requirements, analyzing and interpreting technical documents and product specifications.- Coordinate with outside sales representatives to send Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to estimators for proposal generation.- Provide technical support to outside sales representatives by delivering technically convincing product documentation such as cut sheets.- Assist customers via phone or email, effectively presenting information in a clear and organized manner and responding professionally and accurately to inquiries.- Manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-growing company.- Update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and run sales reports.- Review bid checklist prior to bid submission.- Follow up with outside sales representatives on the status of quotes sent.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.- Minimum 2 years of inside sales experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.- Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Strong planning, organization, and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines.- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a high-paced sales environment.
