About the role

 

We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our sales organization. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the lead-to-booking sales processes identifying sales enablement needs and providing insightful reports on key performance metrics to support our performance objectives.



Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth order processing and communication between systems, like NetSuite and EDI.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party logistics providers (3PL) for timely product delivery and onboarding.
  • Manage inventory levels, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
  • Maintain existing weekly sales reports and create new reports as needed and provide recommendations for the executive team
  • Track and update inventory in systems, like Netsuite and 3PL portal.
  • Create and maintain SKUs and barcodes. 
  • Manage SKU creation in retailer portals.
  • Oversee initial production runs and ensure timely delivery of samples to internal teams.
  • Manage shipment of samples to retailers and all other party.
  • Work with the customer service team to resolve issues related to shipments, delays, or order discrepancies.
  • Act as the liaison for internal teams to address inventory issues and communicate product timelines.
  • Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies, recommends improvements, and tracks operational metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Advanced user of NetSuite (A MUST)
  • Strong knowledge of EDI documents (A MUST)
  • 2+ years of relevant business experience, preferably in sales operations
  • Excel skills required for this role, and any experience analyzing complex data sets and using business intelligence tools a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Tech savvy with an eye to optimizing sales efficiency, resolving operational inconsistencies.
