What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll be working on-site from our modern New Berlin office location; just minutes from I-94.
- Responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with selling and distributing Halder products.
- With guidance from Product Sales Managers, become a product expert & provide support to both internal & external teams.
- Execute and monitor quotes & sales along with goal-planning and forecasting.
- Identify potential customers, generate leads, and collaborate with team members in bringing to closure; using CRM software to document pertinent customer information.
- Participate in contract negotiation and product presentations.
- General marketing effort including tradeshow participation & exhibition.
- Learn our product “fit” within the market, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement, new product designs, and continuous price analysis.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- 3-6 years of related experience in a Manufacturing, Packaging Equipment, or Tooling Sales environment preferred, ranging from Technical Sales, Inside Sales, Technical Customer Service and Account Management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; integrity and honesty are a must.
- Strong sales & negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of tooling components and their applications is a big plus.
- Ability to build & maintain relationships with clients at all levels – associate, manager, and owner level.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Proficient in software programs including MS Office and CRM systems. AutoCAD is a plus.
- Equally productive working with a team and as an individual.
- Strong customer service orientation, meeting the needs of internal & external customers alike.
