Position Summary: The primary role of the Titles Specialist is to ensure that the Company has a first priority security interest in the vehicles underlying its commercial loans by ensuring the title is appropriately notated and timely remitted.

Key Responsibilities:

· Titles Perfection: Ensure that all titles are appropriately notated with the Company as the first priority lienholder.

· Titles Tracking: Ensure that the title float is timely maintained.

· Buyback Tracking: Ensure that the appropriate parties are notified when a deal needs to be bought back due to titles issues.

· Releasing Titles: Release titles or liens on all paid off accounts in a timely manner.

· Phone Calls: Ensure excellent customer service on incoming calls regarding title and registration issues or questions.

· Other Responsibilities: Assist dealers and customers with title questions or issues; work closely with other departments on title issues; verify lien information; handling title issues when a dealer goes out of business.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years in auto financial services, indirect auto lending and/or dealer finance titles department
  • Strong working knowledge of automotive finance operations and titling in particular
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook and Excel)
  • Familiarity with titling and state systems
  • Familiarity with servicing platforms
  • Strong analytical skills; adept at using data for informed decision-making
  • Knowledge of fintech products, technologies and trends in the auto sector
  • Experience with cross-functional team collaboration
