Responsibilities:

  • Leads local recruiting and hiring functions
  • Manage all human resource duties for the assigned facility
  • Apply and interpret company policies and procedures as well as local regulations
  • Manage inventory in assigned facility
  • Serve as the local representative for temporary staffing agency in the assigned facility
  • Perform investigations, employee coaching & counseling, performance development plans, discipline, and terminations, including acting as Spanish translator if possible
  • Process all terminations request from department managers based on final review from the Sr Director of Human Resources
  • Assist in the managing and processing of all regulatory matters (e.g., workers’ comp claims and garnishments)
  • Manage corporate housing
  • Manage monthly I-9 compliance matters
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Up to 10% travel to other company sites


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience as a human resources professional in the distribution/logistics or CPG industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent post-secondary degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of local employment laws, compliance, and best practices required
  • Bilingual – Spanish and English
  • Proficiency in Paycom, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and HRIS
