The company is hiring for their sales team. As a Business Development Representative, you will identify and cultivate new prospects. Build prospecting efforts to firms and producers on a national basis, identify events throughout the year for our prospects and strategic partners, as well as direct calls and social media prospecting efforts.


Responsibilities

• Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience

• Expertise at developing relationships

• Must be willing to travel

• Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills

• Identify, educate, and develop strong broker partner relationships

• Mastery of company ecosystem and sales process

• Willingness to prospect and build territory alignment for sales partners

• Execution of prospecting goals and quotas established annually


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and experience

• 2 years B2B sales experience, insurance experience preferred

• Experience with territory planning, outbound proactive sales calls, and long sales cycle development is required for this role

• Expertise with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Excel is required

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Possess a strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong networking skills

• Must have or obtain (within a designated time frame) Life and Health License
