Our client is looking to add a Database Specialist to their team. This is a full-time direct hire position located in central Madison. The ideal candidate with have strong SQL skills and some exposure to Visual Basic.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, test, and implement computer databases
  • Coordinate changes to computer databases
  • Implement security measures to safeguard computer databases
  • Respond to database problems and escalations
  • Run reports and extract data from MS Access
  • Build new modules or expand existing capabilities
  • Integrations: import/export data with 3rd party system
  • Manage email cleaning database
  • Manage all email addresses in the Microsoft platform

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in database administration or other related fields
  • Experience with relational databases, such as SQL, Oracle, and Access
  • Experience with Visual Basic (VB)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
