Our client, a leader in retail and resale, are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Strategic Partnerships Specialist for their apparel team to support brand outreach and engagement efforts. This role involves collaboration with Business Development and their Resale as a Service (RaaS) partners. The successful candidate will organize pitch materials, manage contracts, address brand concerns, and facilitate merchant integration, ensuring smooth and effective partnerships. This opportunity is full time hours and hybrid with two to three days per week onsite in either Salt Lake City, Utah or Austin, Texas.


  • Rate range: $40-44 per hour


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with RaaS partners and the Business Development team on brand outreach initiatives and follow-up communications.
  • Organize and refine brand-specific pitch deck materials to communicate value propositions effectively to potential partners.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including executing NDAs, Authorized Reseller Agreements, and Pricing Agreements.
  • Address and resolve brand-specific concerns, such as counterfeit issues, to advance partnership negotiations.
  • Coordinate with brands and RaaS partners to ensure successful assignment and execution of tasks for optimal launch and ramp-up.
  • Provide guidance on product assortment and contribute to the creation of brand-specific financial targets.
  • Secure brand-specific marketing assets and advertising incentives to support product launches and ramp-up phases.
  • Organize and deliver brand performance reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and facilitating post-launch analysis.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and key players in the RaaS industry, providing insights for strategic decisions.
  • Offer actionable feedback on existing processes to enhance efficiency and streamline partnership operations.

  • Quick and adaptable learner with an aptitude for rapidly absorbing new information and adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, clients, or partners.
  • Comfortable navigating and thriving within a large, complex organizational structure with multiple layers of management and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and write effectively for various audiences.
  • Skilled presenter and storyteller, capable of delivering compelling presentations and crafting engaging narratives.
  • Proficient in process ideation and implementation, with the capability to design and improve processes effectively.
  • Creative and resourceful problem solver, utilizing innovation to overcome obstacles and find solutions.
  • Proficient in data analytics, interpreting and analyzing data to derive insights and support decision-making.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Retail as a Service (RaaS) or similar models.
  • Understanding of or experience with handling multiple inventory sources or offerings.
  • Established connections within the brand community, RaaS sector, or fashion re-commerce industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully integrating brands into marketplace platforms.
  • Familiarity with using live content, such as live streaming or live commerce, as a tool for growth (considered a bonus).
