** DURATION: 36-month Contract


** WORK SCHEDULE: Hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote Every third week of the month 3 days on site the other weeks of the month 4 days in the office 1 day remote. Hours: 9 am 5:30pm



Pay Rate: $21.00/hr. - $25.00/hr



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for high-volume scanning of incoming and existing paper documents.
  • Prepare files and documents for scanning.
  • Validate files for quality and accuracy after being processed through document scanning software.
  • Ability to complete processes within specified time limits.
  • Analyze incoming legal documents for processing and routing in accordance with established protocols.
  • Validate accurate data entry of motions, court appearances and other information by scanning software into matter management system and document management system.
  • Manage filing, archiving and disposal of paper documents within and outside of the electronic process.
  • Provide other legal support services designated by senior management of the Law Department.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High Diploma or GED Required / BA/BS preferred
  • 2+ years of experience providing document management support in a legal office
  • Experience with matter management systems, document management systems, document scanning systems preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office required
  • Required to learn and become proficient in the use of the departments document scanning software, matter management and document management systems
  • Ability to complete processes within specified time limits
