Job Summary:

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing operational strategy, with a primary focus on operational oversight and efficiency improvement. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will lead the day-to-day operations.



Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with CEO to develop and execute the company strategic operational goals and initiatives.
  • Directing and managing all operational functions, including production, supply chain, logistics, facilities management and quality control.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity through process optimization and automation.
  • Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators to assess operational performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Identifies operational risks and implements strategies to mitigate them.
  • Providing leadership guidance to operational teams, fostering collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Managing operational budgets, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring financial accountability.
  • Leading the company’s response to operational challenges, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA in Operations Management preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational functions such as production, supply chain management, logistics, and quality control.
  • Deep understanding of the industry trends, regulations and best practices to effectively lead operational initiatives.
  • Adept at identifying problems, analysing root causes, and implementing effective solutions to address operational challenges and improve performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business results.
  • Ability to adapt to change, navigate ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve common goals.


Compensation:

  • Bonus potential of as much as $70,000 per year based on company profitability.
  • 3 weeks paid vacation first year / 4 weeks fourth year.

  • Life insurance of $25,000, plus an additional $5,000 for spouse
  • Company provided cell phone and Laptop
  • 401k eligibility after 90 days of employment, 401k match after 1 year of service.
  • Car allowance of $800 per month.
