  • Safety Audits: Conduct regular Safety audits on projects to identify, document, and recommend solutions to hazardous or unsafe work conditions.
  • Employee Well-being: Manage cases involving injured employees, coordinating with medical providers to ensure appropriate treatment and facilitate return-to-work plans.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor safety performance across the organization, identify areas for improvement, and address safety issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the safety team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Safety Professional in the Construction (Heavy Civil) industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field preferred. Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish languages), proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, safety management software), and familiarity with EPA regulations related to environmental health and safety.
  • Leadership: Ability to work collaboratively with a team, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to safety management.
