Insight Global is looking for a Survey Field Coordinator in Chantilly, VA with experience in coordination & scheduling of survey or construction activities. This is full time/direct hire salaried position with benefits


The successful candidate will possess the ability to perform all or most of the following duties and responsibilities: Assists Director and Operations Manager by coordinating and scheduling day to day projects and tasks, monitors work progress and budget for survey field crews as well as develops approaches to execute the field surveying tasks to meet project goals. Performs all types of field and office surveying computations for preparation of stakeout. Ensure field work meets project goals prior to office processing and that procedures and quality control protocols are adhered to by field personnel. Performs limited project management duties Conducts weekly safety meetings for all field personnel. Assists in the preparation of proposals and presentations. Coordinate with Project Manager with cutsheet preparation and QC checking as needed, office survey computing and stakeout preparation when needed. Coordinate with Project Engineers and Project Managers on fieldwork requests and project status.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work in office in Chantilly, VA
  • 7+ Years of experience doing Survey coordination for construction or civil projects
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check with clean driving record (if ever needing to use company vehicle)
  • Ability to perform scheduling duties as well as coordination
  • Ability to stay exceptionally organized
  • Prior Field Survey Experience is a plus
