In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. You will be responsible for leading and managing the inside sales team to drive revenue growth through effective inbound lead management and outbound prospecting activities. This role serves as the frontline sales management, providing leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to the inside sales representatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of consultative sales techniques, pipeline management, and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that maximize productivity and results.


Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 4-8 inside sales representatives focused on inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting activities

• Develop and implement sales strategies, processes, and methodologies to maximize team productivity and revenue attainment

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback to representatives to enhance their sales skills and performance

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as connect rates, opportunities created, pipeline contribution, and revenue targets

• Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns for improved lead quality and conversion

• Continuously evaluate and improve outbound prospecting tactics including email campaigns, cold calling, social selling, etc.

• Leverage sales automation and CRM tools to streamline processes and drive efficiencies

• Conduct recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new inside sales talent as needed

• Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasting and reporting on a monthly/annual basis

• Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.


Requirements:

• 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably in the inside sales or business development arenas

• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and leading high-performing sales teams

• Expertise in consultative/solution selling and pipeline management methodologies

• Excellent coaching, mentoring, and people management abilities

• Strong data analysis, reporting, and forecasting skills

• Proficiency with CRM software (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales automation tools

• Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and continuous improvement

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
