Account manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients. Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationships with clients. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

 

Responsibilities

·        Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and brokers.

·        Communicate with customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings.

·        Serve as a trusted advisor with key accounts.

·        Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions based on customer needs and objectives.

·        Maintain communication on the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives.

·        Forecast and track key account metrics.

·        Maintain customer satisfaction by developing new and different customer requests with new opportunities that will add value to the customer’s experience.

·        Responsible for delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.

·        Monitor and analyze customer's usage of our product

·        Responsible for onboarding and integrating new clients.

·        Coordinate communication between customers and internal teams: Purchasing, Research & Development, New Product Development, Finance and Manufacturing  

·        Responsible for product pricing analysis


Skills and Specifications

·       1 to 2 years experience preferred.

·       Proven account management or other relevant experience

·       Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

·       Proven ability to multitask projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

·       Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment

·       Ability to prioritize among competing tasks

·       Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent time and project management skills.

·       Adhere to deadlines.

·       Knowledge and ability to do basic math.

·       Basic knowledge of Excel, Windows, and Outlook


Work Environment

• Professional office environment: Involves 75% sitting and working at a computer/video display terminal and 25% moving around office and warehouse. 

• Products manufactured in this facility may contain peanuts and tree nuts.  


Physical Requirements

·        Must be able to communicate effectively face-to-face and on the phone.

·        Independent body mobility to access standard office equipment with shelves and drawers of varying heights. Body motor skills sufficient to move from one office location to varying areas of the warehouse environment.

·        Regularly required to stand, walk/move, and use hands to handle tools or objects; reach with hands or arms. May be required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch when necessary for job activity. 

·        Excellent sensory integration, i.e., the ability to take in information through the senses of touch, move, smell, taste, vision and hear.

·        Vision requirements include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to distinguish color variances.

·        Hearing must be sufficient to communicate effectively with others. 

·        Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lbs.

·        Manual dexterity to use computer and handle tools/equipment required for job.
