Position Overview: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Private Credit to join their team in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private credit, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset. As the Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding the private credit portfolio, leading a talented team, and contributing to the overall success of the firm.


Private Credit Vice President Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of private credit investments. Monitor performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement strategies to enhance returns and mitigate risks.
  • Deal Sourcing and Execution: Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities. Lead due diligence, financial analysis, and negotiation processes to secure and execute high-quality transactions.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of investment professionals. Foster a collaborative environment, set performance goals, and provide guidance to ensure the team's success.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their investment objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the firm’s private credit strategy. Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present detailed reports on portfolio performance, market trends, and investment opportunities to senior management and stakeholders.


Private Credit Vice President Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in private credit, with a proven track record of managing investments, leading teams, and executing transactions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional designation (e.g., CFA) is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to evaluate complex financial structures and investment opportunities. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of private credit markets, investment strategies, and risk management practices. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Attributes: Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
