Orion Solutions Group has teamed up with an asset based regional truckload carrier in the Pacific Northwest. Orion’s client offers dry and refrigerated truckload, less than truckload, flat bed and dedicated capacity solutions. We are seeking an experienced individual to lead their commercial efforts in developing new business in their Asset Fleet Services division. This individual would need to be self-motivated, with a “hunter” mentality, able to work from start to finish in prospecting, presenting, proposing and closing on business opportunities to drive growth for the enterprise.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect new leads through multiple sources as well as a company provided prospecting tool (ZoomInfo).
  • Create a robust pipeline, manage it daily through a CRM platform, and close business with assistance of Commercial Leader and Business Unit Leader.
  • Manage onboarding process from start to finish with all new business closed.
  • Prepare presentations (with assistance from corporate) for use with customer engagements.
  • Develop a social media presence (LinkedIn) to promote the business.
  • Leverage Intermodal and Brokerage capabilities to drive results.
  • Engage with Operations associates daily.
  • New business target - $ 3M annual new business revenue.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 year's of experience in selling Transportation Services.
  • Ability to travel weekly (Automobile Travel).
  • Reside in Western WA or Western OR
