Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Intermodal Logistics Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling intermodal transportation services, particularly in the handling and movement of 53' domestic containers and ISO containers. This role requires developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities for business growth, and delivering customized solutions to meet the diverse transportation needs of our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the intermodal logistics sector, with a focus on 53' domestic containers and ISO containers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, shippers, and carriers.
  • Present and promote intermodal transportation services, specifically for 53' containers and ISO containers, to potential clients.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with clients to close sales and ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, particularly in the intermodal container market.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales activities and market opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, freight, or transportation sales, with specific experience in 53' domestic containers and ISO container sales.
  • Strong knowledge of intermodal logistics operations and transportation industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, particularly in intermodal container sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
