Job Description:

Are you passionate about finance and have a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Credit Manager to join our team and support our credit management operations. As an Assistant Credit Manager, you will play a vital role in assessing creditworthiness, managing customer accounts, and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluating credit applications and conducting thorough credit checks.
  • Analyze financial data to assess credit risk and determine credit limits.
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate credit files and documentation.
  • Assist in developing and implementing credit policies and procedures.
  • Generate reports on credit performance and aging accounts.
  • Provide support to the Credit Manager as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in credit analysis or related financial roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of credit management software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing credit and collections.
