Job Description:
Are you passionate about finance and have a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Credit Manager to join our team and support our credit management operations. As an Assistant Credit Manager, you will play a vital role in assessing creditworthiness, managing customer accounts, and ensuring timely payments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating credit applications and conducting thorough credit checks.
- Analyze financial data to assess credit risk and determine credit limits.
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate credit files and documentation.
- Assist in developing and implementing credit policies and procedures.
- Generate reports on credit performance and aging accounts.
- Provide support to the Credit Manager as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in credit analysis or related financial roles.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of credit management software is a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing credit and collections.
