Job Location:

Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts.


What you will be doing:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and effective manufacturing processes for Wet Tantalum capacitors.
  • Conduct process capability studies and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Test and qualify new processes/ raw materials.
  • Analyze process data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process-related issues and improve product quality.
  • Develop and implement process documentation and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.


What you will bring along:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Materials science, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 1-5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
