Board Relations Coordinator

A nonprofit services organization is currently seeking an administrative professional to join their staff as their new Board Relations Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
The Board Relations Coordinator will:
- Coordinate high-level administrative needs of the Board Relations team as they relate to supporting the work of the Board of Trustees, Board Committees, and communications
- Support will include complex calendar management and scheduling, drafting correspondence, data management, file maintenance, invoice and expense reporting, and special projects
- Work with the Board Relations Manager to liaise with, and provide administrative support for, the Board Chair and their office
- Help manage relationships with, and communications to, individual board members and stakeholders
- Effectively liaise with venues and vendors and manage the contracting process for board events
- Assist the team in drafting, editing, formatting and proofreading memos, presentations, correspondence, and other materials
- Coordinate and assist in the management of special projects related to furthering the work of the Board
- Organize and coordinate internal team meetings and retreats, including scheduling and technology needs
- Coordinate mailings of materials, gifts, and swag
- Provide ad-hoc, hands-on support for a variety of projects and roles
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years of administrative and scheduling experience required
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
- Proactive, detail-oriented, problem solver with a proven ability to deliver high-quality results and meet deadlines
- Experience supporting multiple team members while juggling competing priorities and projects at the same time
- Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to travel for in-person board meetings and events and to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
- Must interpersonal skills and a high attention to detail
- Experience in project coordination skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
