The ideal candidate is proactive and adaptable, possessing exceptional writing and communication skills. A solid grasp of public relations fundamentals, including media relations, coverage tracking, drafting press materials, and creating media lists, is essential. Additionally, familiarity with current social media trends and cultural shifts in entertainment and technology is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Relations: Develop and pitch innovative story ideas, thought leadership content, and proactive PR initiatives.
  • Engagement: Identify and connect with journalists to foster relationships.
  • Story Pitching: Present company news and story concepts to media outlets.
  • Media List Management: Maintain an updated master media list and assist in compiling lists for various campaigns and events.
  • Event Support: Attend and assist with press events, screenings, and media briefings as required.
  • Media Inquiries: Address and respond to inquiries from the press.
Creative Writing:
  • Compose engaging communication materials, including press releases, blogs, pitches, and speeches.
  • Prepare briefing documents for spokesperson engagements.
Coverage Monitoring:
  • Oversee press coverage of key partners and industry news, including daily reports for senior management.
  • Track real-time news trends to integrate the company into relevant cultural conversations.
  • Compile and analyze coverage reports.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company’s media resources and ensure that media kits are current.

  • Assist in drafting marketing materials and gathering press quotes for sales initiatives.
  • Support various research projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Team-oriented with a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.
