A nonprofit services organization is currently seeking an administrative professional to join their staff as their new Board Relations Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

The Board Relations Coordinator will:

  • Coordinate high-level administrative needs of the Board Relations team as they relate to supporting the work of the Board of Trustees, Board Committees, and communications
  • Support will include complex calendar management and scheduling, drafting correspondence, data management, file maintenance, invoice and expense reporting, and special projects
  • Work with the Board Relations Manager to liaise with, and provide administrative support for, the Board Chair and their office
  • Help manage relationships with, and communications to, individual board members and stakeholders
  • Effectively liaise with venues and vendors and manage the contracting process for board events
  • Assist the team in drafting, editing, formatting and proofreading memos, presentations, correspondence, and other materials
  • Coordinate and assist in the management of special projects related to furthering the work of the Board
  • Organize and coordinate internal team meetings and retreats, including scheduling and technology needs
  • Coordinate mailings of materials, gifts, and swag
  • Provide ad-hoc, hands-on support for a variety of projects and roles
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 - 3 years of administrative and scheduling experience required
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, problem solver with a proven ability to deliver high-quality results and meet deadlines
  • Experience supporting multiple team members while juggling competing priorities and projects at the same time
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to travel for in-person board meetings and events and to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Must interpersonal skills and a high attention to detail
  • Experience in project coordination skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
