Job Description:

Seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and optimize the company’s operational functions. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the medical device industry and a proven track record of operational excellence. As COO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth, operational efficiency, and overall success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with company goals. Implement best practices to drive productivity and operational excellence.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans that support the company’s growth and innovation objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements across all operational areas, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage operational budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation. Ensure financial objectives are met and support long-term financial sustainability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other relevant global regulatory requirements. Maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in operations management within the medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading operational functions and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and global regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
