Facility Mechanical Engineer

As a Facilities Mechanical Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of exciting projects that drive our clients' research, development, testing, and manufacturing.

You'll collaborate closely with client stakeholders in a dynamic environment to design and develop construction documents for complex manufacturing tools, tenant improvements, and facility upgrades.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout for wet and dry piping, equipment layout, HVAC, exhaust, fire suppression, process chemical piping and gasses for extensive tools in some of the most complex, densely packed industrial facilities.
  • The design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factory.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University

Three (3) years of practical application of mechanical facilities engineering, including HVAC, Hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related mechanical facilities systems

• Engineer in Training (EIT) actively pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) License

Possess:

Two (2) years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools either their manufacture, installation or use in cleanrooms

• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-discipline design

teams

• Working knowledge of the Oregon Mechanical Specialty Code (OMSC)

• One (1) year field experience in an industrial facility

Other Requirements:

Must be willing to commute to the site Monday-Friday during normal business hours
