We are looking for a business services expert to manage critical aspects of our order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes, including the establishment and maintenance of best-in-class processes for collections and disbursements. This position will include extensive interaction with customers, suppliers, sales personnel and other team members, so success will require initiative, collaboration and talent development. This position will be heavily involved in driving working capital improvements and working closely with the broader accounting and finance team. This position reports to the Corporate Controller and is based on site in Westminster, Colorado.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage Highridge’s accounts receivable and the collections process. Optimize cash collections by balancing commercial considerations and collaboration with customers to ensure timely collections. Develop efficient processes to achieve this, including processes for credits and returns. Develop and provide analytics to demonstrate the status, issues and progress in collections efforts.
  • Manage accounts payable and the disbursements process. Optimize the company’s cash flows and ensure achievement of its cash flow targets through collaboration with leadership and suppliers. Develop efficient processes to achieve this, including analytics to demonstrate the status, issues and progress in disbursements efforts. Review and approve check runs.
  • Lead the effort to harmonize global collections and disbursements process to maximize efficiency and effectiveness while accommodating differing regional requirements and norms.
  • Collaborate with others in the finance organization to develop and achieve accurate cash flow forecasts, and to improve supporting processes.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in public and industry accounting, including experience in collections and disbursements
  • Experience supervising others and developing talent
  • Experience leading process improvements

A self-starter with excellent time management skills (meets deadlines)

Collaborative, results oriented team player

Manufacturing and/or healthcare industry experience as well as awareness and sensitivity to global markets

  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including advanced Excel skills
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems, ideally SAP
