Who You Are

Interested in assisting with the full cycle recruiting pipeline and other areas of HR?


We're looking for a detail-oriented person who is passionate about talent acquisition to assist with a variety of responsibilities and tasks alongside our entire HR team.

This position is a hybrid contractor role primarily based out of our office in downtown Chicago, but occasional travel to our office in Deerfield may be required.

What You'll Do
Assist the lead recruiter with the administrative tasks involved in the full recruiting lifecycle.
Post jobs and move candidates through the recruiting workflow in our applicant tracking system (ATS) Lever.
Screen resumes in Lever for best-fit candidates.
Source passive candidates on various job sites, such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
Conduct passive candidate outreach via email and messaging apps.
Develop relationships with colleges, vendors, or recruiting agencies.
Assist in the onboarding process.

Schedule various interview steps, including initial HR screens (eventually conducting these yourself), hiring manager interviews, technical assessments using various platforms, such as CoderPad, and in-person or virtual team interviews.

Manage the entire onboarding process for candidates.
Schedule and attend debriefings with interview teams to determine hiring decisions.
Participate in employer branding initiatives related to recruiting.
Maintain documentation and update HR tools and systems with new data, including updating the organizational charts.
Assist employees with their day-to-day requests including benefit and payroll related needs.
Collaborate with the HR Office Coordinator to execute various operations tasks and employee engagement events.
Coordinate various Human Resources initiatives for organizational development, performance management, recognition/rewards, training/education, standardized procedure development, and documentation.
Modify compensation market data matches and pull reports for new hires.

Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or another related field.

2+ years of experience managing the full recruiting lifecycle.
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision (follow-through skills).
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Experience using an applicant tracking system such as Lever, preferred.
Experience executing onboarding tasks for new hires, preferred.
Experience with market salary data, payroll, benefits, and other HR-related tools, preferred.
