We are looking for candidates with experience in commercial laundry for a Field Service Sales Representative position with a dynamic organization that produces and distributes industrial laundry chemicals for clients in the linen and uniform service sector.
Position Overview:
This remote and travel-based role involves operating within your designated territory, delivering technical solutions for plant operations, identifying sales prospects, and nurturing enduring relationships with clients. The Field Service Sales Representative will be instrumental in advocating for the company's product offerings and ensuring outstanding service delivery to commercial laundry customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and market the complete product range to current clients.
- Build a targeted sales prospect list, develop relationships, and acquire new customers.
- Ensure adequate sales coverage within the assigned region.
- Provide service, maintenance, and communication for accounts.
- Install and configure chemical dosing systems to integrate with clients' washing machinery.
- Lead the planning and implementation of new installations or upgrades.
- Maintain all company-issued equipment in optimal working order.
- Operate within the designated expense budget.
- Collect overdue accounts receivable, as necessary.
- Reduce urgent product orders.
- Submit all required reports promptly.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the commercial laundry or chemical industry (or equivalent education and experience)
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Military experience is advantageous
- Strong analytical, organizational, and technical/mechanical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, as well as internet and order processing software.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with precision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role: lifting up to 50 pounds, frequently standing and walking, working in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and exposure to chemicals and loud noises.
