The Supply Chain Program Manager for Launch & Expansion at the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) is accountable for overseeing procurement assignments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services for new Amazon Fulfillment Centers. Responsibilities include managing project progress, identifying risks, and maintaining stakeholder relationships. We are seeking candidates for this role with the following qualifications and responsibilities:

Key job responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of procurement tasks to guarantee timely delivery of essential goods and services for new site launches
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and manage mitigation plans
  • Track Purchase Order status and ensure on-time delivery of equipment
  • Mitigate risk for new launch buildings
  • Improve current processes
  • Eliminate project barriers for team members
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance
  • Define key performance indicators, develop metrics, and track program objectives
  • Drive team's vision and goals
  • Provide training for new project/program launches
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of process improvement initiatives with data and metrics
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
  • Experience in defining program requirements and using data for improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of end-to-end delivery and communication with senior leadership
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements
  • Stakeholder management experience across various levels
  • Proficiency in building processes, project management, and schedules
