JOB SUMMARY
We are recruiting for a city municipality's Deferred Compensation Plan (DCP),

and we seek to fill a part-time Retirement Plan Intern position to provide support to the city's DCP.

The DCP allows employees to set aside a portion of their compensation (up to applicable annual Federal contribution limits) on a tax-advantaged basis.


RESPONSIBILITIES
·

The Retirement Plan Intern will provide support to the DCP in a broad range of assignments, including assisting with the development and execution of

marketing/engagement

programs focused on active employees and retirees.
·

Performing research in the field of retirement readiness and financial wellness.
·

Developing and interpreting data to support objectives related to improving participant outcomes.
·


As this position will be highly focused on the DCP's participant engagement efforts, the successful candidate will report to the DCP's Communications Manager.


SKILLS

Retirement/Financial

Planning (One year of experience is preferred)

Communications and Marketing (One year of experience is preferred)
·

Content Creation or Management (One year of experience is required)
·

Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel)

Qualifications
Years of experience

2 years of experience (conducting research, analysis and making recommendations), with one year in content creation or management.
Bachelor's degree is preferred (Note:

consideration given to college seniors or recent college graduates).
