As a Wealth Management Consultant, you will engage directly with affluent individuals and complex families to develop tailored and comprehensive financial strategies aimed at safeguarding and enhancing their wealth across generations.

Assist nonprofit organizations and endowments in achieving their long-term financial goals through strategic planning and investment oversight. Collaborate with a team of specialists to design and implement innovative, personalized solutions for clients.

Establish a practice and client portfolio by executing a strategic business development plan to identify potential clients and nurture referral networks.

Partner with a dedicated service team to provide outstanding service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary or co-relationship manager for client accounts
Formulate and implement a business development strategy that yields results and meets sales objectives for the designated region
Build internal and external networks and referral sources to expand business
Work in conjunction with internal partners and specialists in trust & estate, investment management, and wealth planning to create a comprehensive wealth strategy for clients that addresses their unique financial challenges
Collaborate with clients' other advisors (such as attorneys or CPAs) to facilitate wealth planning and track progress
Develop asset allocation scenarios and provide recommendations and narratives that align with clients' objectives and support decision-making
Design, manage, and oversee clients' investment portfolios in accordance with portfolio allocation and risk management guidelines
Gain deep understanding of the value proposition, solutions, capabilities, and key narratives related to Capital Group's investment philosophies, processes, and policies
Stay informed about market trends and economic conditions, always ready to share insights or present market updates/outlooks
Build rapport and trust by engaging in meaningful discovery to identify client needs and concerns, enabling you to diagnose, propose solutions, and resolve clients' wealth management challenges
Adhere to risk and compliance processes and policies to ensure the protection of clients' assets, maintain their confidentiality, act in their best interests, and ensure effective operational practices

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree. CFP, CFA, or MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in wealth management or a related field with a proven interest in business development.
Proficient in social media and LinkedIn.
Ability to establish a new referral network capable of generating business.

Actively engaged in the community, involved with charitable organizations, and capable of cultivating a strong network of affluent individuals who appreciate the expertise you offer.

The Wealth Management Consultant serves as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to sophisticated high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.

Effective communication and presentation skills adaptable to various audiences, both internal and external.
Demonstrated service orientation and ability to foster strong relationships, both externally and internally. Experience in completing timely, accurate, and compliant client and account activities with minimal oversight.
Willingness to pursue additional training and licensing as required.


Capital Group is obligated by state-specific regulations to disclose the salary for this position when hiring a resident in applicable locations.

The base salary for this role is $100,000 plus applicable sales commissions and bonuses.

Specific compensation for the role may vary within the stated range based on various factors including candidate experience and skills.

Positions may also qualify for additional compensation and/or benefits.

Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the program's governing rules, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including individual and organizational performance.

Additionally, employees are eligible for a standard benefits package that includes paid time off, medical, dental, and retirement plans.


In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions, and vesting requirements, you will also be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, as well as Capital's annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
