High-end residential contractor in Jacksonville, Florida is looking for an experienced, full-time project manager.

Job Description:

  • Oversee the construction process of two projects at a time
  • Coordinate with the owner, architect, design team and project superintendent
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents including drawings, specs, RFI's, etc.
  • Create and validate the project schedule
  • Write and negotiate contracts for subcontractors and materials
  • Make sure the project superintendent has all pertinent information to manage the site
  • Authorize payments for materials and subcontractors
  • Assist with job site issues related to daily construction activities
  • Verify dimensions within design drawings and coordinate with shop drawings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills:

  • Minimum of three years' experience in scheduling, site supervision and quality control
  • Strong supervision, organizational and people skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of scheduling and cost control
  • Knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures
