What The Role Is

The Product Specialist will assist and/or perform all tasks necessary to support all products and services within the Treasury Management product portfolio, including assisting with the implementation of new products and services as needed. The Product Specialist will participate as necessary with stakeholders in the performance of these product support tasks, in addition to providing expertise and escalation support to other Treasury Management personnel as necessary. This position will take ownership of complex system tasks and processes, as necessary, including vendor issue management, testing and implementation of new product releases and data conversions.

How You will Make an Impact
  • Assist and support Treasury Management in providing solutions for quality customer experiences, looking for improvements and implementing
  • Assist and support the Treasury Management strategy, Product and Sales Departments, coordinating Treasury Management resources as necessary.
  • Assist with the testing and implementation of new software releases – this involves helping build test scripts, documenting and reporting test results, and scheduling implementation of approved releases along with notification to all interested and affected parties.
  • Assist with the issues related to Systems or platforms – this involves reporting and monitoring all issues specific to each release installed in the Production and Test Environments (including providing detailed documentation related to each case) as well as verifying fixes, confirming implementation of those fixes in the Production Environment, notifying Treasury Management personnel of issue resolutions and ultimately closing resolved cases.
  • Contact vendors to report system outages.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of software bugs specific to each product and software release and communicate this information (when necessary) to the affected Treasury Management personnel, including workaround solutions when available.
  • Assist in the writing, editing, publishing and maintenance of Help Manuals, Installation Guides and Informational Web Pages.
  • Write and publish Broadcast Messages as needed.
  • Participate in the creation, publishing and maintenance of Product Agreements and Setup Forms for all Treasury Management Products and Services.
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of product information for all Treasury Management products and services, publishing this material to the Treasury Management Product Library that is used by all Treasury Management personnel.
  • Assist in the development and implementation plans to seamlessly integrate new customers resulting from bank mergers into the appropriate Treasury Management products and services – this includes conducting pre-merger data testing necessary to confirm correct loading of customer data into the platforms.
  • Provide escalation support to internal customers when Treasury Management Operations need to escalate issues for assistance, interacting with other Cadence Bank Departments as necessary.
  • Assist the Manager/Department with special projects, including, but not limited to: System conversions (major or minor), Merger-related tasks, Department procedures documentation/ updates, Process improvements, Other projects (such as streamlining and automating the completion of product agreements, etc.).
  • Must work with stakeholders in a cooperative and collaborative manner.
  • Assist and support Treasury Management as needed, including, but not limited to: New product development / enhancements to existing products; Department reports (Audit, Compliance, BSA, etc.).
  • Train new employees, as needed.
  • Represent the Treasury Management Department in meetings.
  • Possess and project a positive, proactive and energetic attitude on a daily basis, thereby facilitating open communication and cooperation with the Manager and all co-workers, including those in other departments.
  • Strive for excellence at all times.
  • Develop a continuous program of self-education and improvement.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures, including the written documentation related thereto.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance at all times.
  • Adhere to all established Treasury Management and Cadence policies and procedures.
  • Abide by applicable Federal Regulations specific to Treasury Management.
Who You Are
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to be proactive, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience, desired.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all times, professionally representing the department in all verbal and written communications, is a must.
  • Ability to partner with others effectively, providing support and guidance that fosters maximum performance from department personnel
  • Detail-oriented and precise, with the ability and desire to learn quickly.
  • Necessary work ethic to take on a variety of tasks and carry them through to completion.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Meet all established deadlines on all tasks, and be willing to accept these responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge related to Cadence systems and treasury management products and services, desired.
