At Bio Wise Testing Solutions, we are seeking a Mobile Specimen Collector to join our team You will be responsible for performing medical tests that assist providers in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. In some cases, for legal or law enforcement cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and organize blood and other bodily fluid samples from clients
  • Prepare samples for routine testing and analysis
  • Properly record results for further analysis and easy reference
  • Monitor inventory samples and supplies
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Work under the supervision of a medical technologist
  • Educate clients on the services and answer questions regarding testing

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a clinical technician or in other related fields is preferred
  • Familiarity with common medical terminology
  • Experience in specimen collection
  • Strong organizational skills​​​​​​
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information​​​​​​
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written​​​​​​
  • Ability to use a personal device for scheduling and operate handheld devices for client registration.​​​​​​
  • Ability to withstand regular physical contact with all bodily fluids, dust, and outdoor and cleaning solutions.​​​​​​
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
  • Functioning and reliable mode of transportation.

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to withstand regular physical contact with all bodily fluids, dust, and outdoor and cleaning solutions.

Note: This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary

Job Type: PRN, Per Diem, Contractor

Pay: Range of $40-$100 per collection
