Job Title: Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health.

Job Summary:

The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a clinical setting. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques
  • Label and process blood samples for laboratory testing
  • Ensure accurate and efficient sample collection and processing
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff
Requirements:
  • Phlebotomy Tech Cert from one of the following: American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
  • Ability to work morning shifts, including the hours of 2:30 am - 6:30 am
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
