We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team at TridentCare. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing clinical pre-analytical laboratory services to our clients/patients in a mobile setting.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a company vehicle to client facilities, typically nursing homes, as directed by the dispatcher.
- Unload phlebotomy trays and collect samples from patients in a safe and timely manner.
- Accurately identify patients and collect, label, process, and deliver specimens obtained from patients.
- Regularly communicate with the dispatcher to report status and location.
- Maintain sterile, sanitary conditions to prevent contamination and follow all safety precautions.
- Current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required)
- Current, valid State Driver's license; car insurance; good driving record; and a vehicle in good working condition.
- Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using both vacutainer and syringe techniques.
- Knowledge of laboratory operations and ability to maintain required certifications, health requirements, and operational requirements.
The standard medical laboratory environment is one in which potential health hazards do exist. Associates work in all weather and driving conditions.
