Position Overview

This role involves working 5x8 DAYS, Monday to Friday, with hours subject to laboratory requirements. In this dynamic, high-visibility role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients.

Job Responsibilities

The Pathologist Assistant plays a crucial role in the gross examination of various surgical specimens, both simple and complex. Responsibilities include:

  • Selection and submission of specimens for histological, microbiological, immunological, electron microscopy, and other specialized analyses.
Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Pathology Assistant is required.

Certifications: ASCP-PA certification is mandatory.

Travelers: First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Schedule Information

Work schedule is Monday to Friday.

  • A physical examination must be completed within 12 months prior to the start date
  • Fit Test to be conducted onsite during orientation, updated annually
