Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Texas Health Dallas. As a Clinical Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform phlebotomy, specimen processing, and limited outpatient services
  • Follow laboratory procedures for handling and processing specimens in a safe and efficient manner
  • Follow established laboratory test procedures and protocols
  • Perform procedures in other areas of the laboratory as required by the hospital entity
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
  • Six months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy
  • PBT(ASCP) - Phlebotomy Technician upon hire preferred
  • One year of hospital phlebotomy experience with specimen processing preferred OR two years of mobile phlebotomy experience preferred
